I am Lana, a designer and true „Küstenkind“ as we call it where I come from. Growing up in the northernmost part of Germany, I arrived at what I do today via a variety of detours through film and fashion design.
In the past 10+ years I have made my way through freelance illustration, visual design, art direction and print all the way to UI/UX, product design and prototyping.
Since May 2021 I work as Senior Brand Designer at Doctolib.

I joined Brickblock in 2017 as a freelancer. I was hired to create icons, but within a couple of weeks it became clear, that they needed so much more.
My role shifted from icon illustrator, to visual designer to Product & UI/UX designer.
It has been a roller-coaster ride and a steep learning-curve, as one would expect from a fintech blockchain startup.
The company has grown up a great deal, and I grew with them.

During this time I had the chance to create llustrations for various online publications and podcasts, art direction for magazines, designing infographics, logos, creating illustrations for school assignments/books and much more.

Carfrogger

Carfrogger was one of my of my main freelance clients back in 2012/2013. The company was building an online cofigurator that allowed the users to upload their own designs and ideas to the carfrogger platform in order to have their car foil wrapped in said design.
I was part of the marketing and design team and involved in creating programmable vector files for the configurator as well as a variety of online and print marketing materials.
The company went bankrupt end of 2013.

On this programme I was very involved with the design, programming, and planning of multimedia projects, as well as taking on the theoretical and practical tools used for developing professional design within the field of multimedia.
It consists of a combination of unser interface desig, user experience design, content production, business and basic programming.
